Watercolor Classes

H2O COLOR 101

Mondays, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Class Fee: $40; Supply Fee: $10

Instructor: Carl Hatcher

Students will learn to paint with watercolors with the focus on landscapes such as trees, water, and mountains. The painting completed during the class can be framed at the artists' discretion (framing and matting not included). Maximum painting size 8x10.

Minimum 4 - Maximum 12

Instructor: Joyce Clair

The class includes basic techniques for beginners, elements & principles of design for experienced painters, and experimenting with different painting surfaces such as Yupo paper, watercolor canvas, and hot-pressed watercolor paper to facilitate loose painting. Experienced painters should bring samples of their work to determine what is needed to improve. Also bring some reference photos or a still-life setup for a painting subject.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

A full refund of class/workshop fees will be made if HAHC cancels the scheduled class or workshop.

 

Cancellations by the participant must be received at least 2 days prior to the date of the class or workshop in order to receive a full refund of the class fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received less than 2 days prior to the date of the class. 

Supply/Clay Fees are not eligible for refund.

 

Refunds will be made by check and will be mailed to the participant at the address provided during registration for the class/workshop.
