About the Class

Hand-built Garlic Keeper or Lidded Jar

Spend a morning in Helen making your own garlic keeper. Stock up on garlic from the farmers market and prepare for shrimp scampi night! Or skip the holes altogether and have a lidded jar to keep anything from sugar to cotton balls.

Your instructor will glaze and fire your jars after the class is over. This can take 4-6 weeks. Local people can swing by the center to get their completed pottery, but otherwise pots will have to be shipped. Shipping charges are additional.

Working with clay the outcome is never guaranteed, but we follow best practices to help ensure each piece is a success.
